TITLE
List and Direct Marketing Services Professional
SCOPE
Provide AccuList’s list and direct marketing clients with the most valid and reliable contact names possible to maximize the probability of success of their direct marketing projects and campaigns while maintaining positive client relationships through exceptional service. Develop and maintain new AccuList list and direct marketing clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Advise clients regarding proposed or actual direct marketing projects and campaigns and the list and other services that are available through AccuList.
- Receive, formally document, and fulfill client and prospect requests for count, usage and pricing information.
- Price list and related services according to AccuList’s approved pricing schedule, specific and industry pricing strategies, and overall company pricing philosophy.
- Qualify and accept list and related service orders according to AccuList’s criteria and definitions for “good and bad” business.
- Receive and formally document client orders for contact lists and any list related services.
- Research appropriate available lists that will meet the clients’ direct contact marketing objectives.
- Evaluate available lists and identify those with the greatest probability of meeting the clients’ direct contact marketing ROI objectives.
- Write list orders using the standard AccuList process and format.
- Write list order processing instructions for the Project Management Department, using the standard AccuList format.
- Coordinate list order processing progress with the Project Management Department by providing guidance, information and problem solutions when required or requested by the list order project manager.
- Complete all assigned client order status information required for the weekly Sales Activity Status Report.
- Develop and maintain ongoing effective working relationships with AccuList clients, list managers, list owners, list brokers, direct marketing agencies, letter shops, printers, list processors, list analysts and modelers, graphic designers, direct marketing consultants, fulfillment organizations, mapping services, e-mail hosting, social media marketing services, and other associated direct marketing entities.
- Distribute customer service questionnaires to clients for whom list orders have been completed, report results and take any corrective action indicated by the clients’ responses.
- Review and evaluate list advertisements and information placed in industry publications and also sent directly to AccuList and determine which list products and services have potential value for AccuList clients and prospects.
- Develop and maintain client and prospect files in ACT.
- Enter and maintain client, vendor and key person contact names within the ACT contact and List Trak order management system.

TITLE
SALES APPOINTMENT SETTER
SCOPE
Candidate has the responsibility of setting sales appointments, delegating the sales appointments to senior management and may perform related administrative duties. We are looking for someone who will take ownership of responsibilities and wants to be part of our growing list and direct marketing team. This position reports directly to the Owner/President or his designate.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Call active, inactive, and prospective clients by using a contact list and script from supervisor
- Follow sales advice from supervisor regarding cold / warm calling techniques
- Greet clients as they pick up the phone and introduce yourself and the company
- Provide information to clients regarding a service or product in question
- Answer questions that a client asks to the best of ability
- Make sure that the client is not interrupted during conversation or questions
- Take information from clients regarding their specific product or service needs
- Document all account related communications in ACT.
- Ask clients for a specific time when they will be free for a return call or video conference
- Set appointments with clients at their earliest convenience
- Express gratitude to clients for their time
- Assign client to supervisor and provide same with briefs of conversations and client needs
- Ensure that supervisor follows up on client’s needs on a timely basis
- Perform other duties, as assigned
Qualifications
Ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2 years relevant experience. Qualified candidates must be familiar with Excel, Word, Outlook, ACT, LinkedIn, Twitter, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be detail oriented, and accurate with strong follow-through. Must be bondable and strong references are required.
